Children and parents

Version 2026-11-02 · In effect from 6 November 2026

Most ClickReady students are in Class 11 or 12, so most are under 18. Indian law treats everyone under 18 as a child, and this page explains how the app protects them and what a parent can do.

What changes for a student under 18

At sign-up every student says whether they are 18 or older or under 18. For a student under 18:

What the app does keep is what it needs to work: the account details, test answers and results, which give the student their scores, solutions and Improvement Book, and crash reports that let us fix faults. The Privacy Policy lists every item.

If a student changes their age group to under 18 later, these protections apply from that moment, and any course-call choice is switched off.

A parent's consent

From 13 May 2027 the Digital Personal Data Protection Rules require a parent's verifiable consent before an app processes a child's personal data. Before that date, ClickReady will ask a parent of every student under 18 to give that consent and to confirm they are an adult, using a method the Rules accept, such as DigiLocker. A student whose parent does not confirm by then will have their account data deleted.

At the same step a parent may choose, for themselves, to receive calls from Sushant Tutorials about its courses. That box is never ticked for them, and the call goes to the parent, never to the child.

What a parent can do now

Sharing a scorecard

A student can make a picture of their score and share it through their phone's share menu. The picture is made on the phone and goes only where the student sends it; ClickReady receives nothing. It shows the student's name, exam, score, accuracy and time, never a predicted rank.
