Privacy Policy
ClickReady is a mock-test app for JEE Main, NEET UG and MHT-CET. This page explains what personal data it collects, why, who handles it for us, how long we keep it, and how you can change your mind.
In short. We ask for your email and mobile number to run your account. Calls about Sushant Tutorials' courses are a separate choice, off unless you tick it, and never made to anyone under 18. We do not sell your data, we show no ads in the app, and we do not collect your phone's advertising ID.
1. Who is responsible for your data
ClickReady is published by Sushant Tutorials, a sole proprietorship of Sushant Sudhir Gayawal, Office No 10H, Chaitanya Apartment, 2063 Sadashiv Peth, Pune 411030, Maharashtra, India (GSTIN 27BETPG8725A1ZD). Under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 we are the "Data Fiduciary": we decide why and how your data is used. Questions about this policy go to our Grievance Officer at grievance@clickready.in (see Grievance Officer).
2. What we collect and why
| Data | Why we use it | How long we keep it |
|---|---|---|
| Email address and Google account ID, from Google Sign-In | To sign you in, recover your account, answer support requests and send payment receipts. Google also passes your name and profile picture to our sign-in service; we do not use them. | Until you delete your account |
| Mobile number, checked once with an SMS code | For your account, account recovery, support and receipts. If you are 18 or older and tick the separate box, also for calls from Sushant Tutorials about its online courses (section 3). | Until you delete your account |
| Your name, exam, target year and age group (18 or older, or under 18) | To show the right tests and to apply the protections for students under 18 (section 4). | Until you delete your account |
| Test attempts: answers, time on each question, marks, and when you took the test | To score your tests, show solutions and analysis, build your Improvement Book, estimate your rank, and keep your results across phones. | Until you delete your account |
| Your consent choices, with the time and this policy's version | To prove what you agreed to, and to stop calls the moment you withdraw. | Until you delete your account |
| Reports you send about a question, with your note | To correct the question and re-score affected tests. | Until the question is fixed. If you delete your account, the report stays with the question, without your account link. |
| Purchases: Google Play order number, which pass, price and time | To unlock your pass, handle refunds and keep the tax records the law requires. Card, UPI and bank details go to Google Play only; we never see them. | As long as GST law requires (currently 72 months after the annual return for that year). If you delete your account, the record stays without your name, email or number. |
| Support emails | To answer you. | Two years after the request is closed |
| Crash reports: phone model, Android version, app version and what the app was doing when it crashed | To find and fix faults. | 90 days |
| Usage statistics, 18 or older only, and only if you switch them on: which screens and features are used, through an app installation ID | To learn which features help and which confuse. Off unless you switch it on in Profile; you can switch it off again any time. Never collected for students under 18. | 2 months |
We do not ask for your phone's location, contacts, photos, microphone or camera. For adults who switch on usage statistics, Google works out an approximate region from the internet connection. The app keeps downloaded tests and your results on your phone, so it works offline; that copy stays on the phone until you delete your account in the app or uninstall it.
We need the email and mobile number to run your account, so you cannot use ClickReady without them. Your results are shown at once and are never held back for any detail.
3. Calls from Sushant Tutorials
Sushant Tutorials, the business that publishes ClickReady, also teaches online courses. If you are 18 or older, the app offers a separate box: "Sushant Tutorials may call me about its online courses." It is never ticked for you, and ClickReady works the same whether you tick it or not.
- If you tick it, a counsellor from Sushant Tutorials may call your mobile number about its online courses. Calls come only from a registered 140-series number, as telecom rules require, and each call names Sushant Tutorials and tells you how to stop.
- To stop calls, switch off "Calls from Sushant Tutorials" in Profile, say so on a call, or email support@clickready.in. Calls stop within 48 hours.
- Your number is kept for this in our customer records (Zoho CRM, India data centre) only while your choice is on. It is removed the night you withdraw or delete your account.
- Students under 18 are never called. Changing your age group to under 18 switches calls off.
4. Students under 18
Most ClickReady students are under 18, and the law gives them extra protection. For anyone who chooses "Under 18" at sign-up, ClickReady collects no usage statistics, sends nothing to any advertising network, and never offers calls. Crash reports are still collected so the app keeps working. Children and parents explains this in full, including how a parent can see or delete their child's data, and the parent's consent the app will ask for before 13 May 2027.
ClickReady is not meant for children under 13.
5. What we never do
- We never sell your personal data or share it with another business for its own use.
- We never upload students' phone numbers or emails to Google, Meta or any other platform to target ads.
- We show no advertisements inside the app.
- We do not collect your phone's advertising ID, and the app contains no advertising software.
- We never publish your name, score or result. A scorecard leaves your phone only if you share it yourself.
When our ads on Google bring someone to the app, Google Play itself tells Google Ads that an install or purchase happened, under Google's own privacy policy. The app sends nothing to advertising networks for this.
6. Who handles your data for us
These companies process data only on our instructions, to run the service:
| Company | What it does for us | Where the data is |
|---|---|---|
| Supabase | Account sign-in and the database that holds your profile, results and choices | Mumbai, India |
| Google (Google Sign-In, Google Play, Firebase Crashlytics and Analytics) | Sign-in, payments, crash reports, usage statistics for adults | Google's data centres, which may be outside India |
| MSG91 (Walkover Web Solutions Pvt Ltd) | Sends the one-time SMS code that checks your mobile number | India |
| Cloudflare | Delivers test files to the app and serves this website | Cloudflare's network, which may be outside India |
| Zoho | Our email, support desk, accounts and customer records for course calls | Zoho's India data centre |
| Anthropic (Claude) | An AI assistant that drafts our replies to support emails and data requests, and prepares our reports, seeing only what each task needs | Anthropic's data centres, outside India |
We may also disclose data when an Indian law, court or government authority lawfully requires it, and to our chartered accountant for tax filings (purchase records only).
7. How we protect it
- Data travels encrypted (HTTPS) between the app and our servers.
- Our database lets each student read and change only their own records. Passes, payments and answer corrections can be changed only by our server, never from a phone.
- Only the proprietor, and the companies in section 6 acting on our instructions, can reach your records.
- If a breach affects your data, we tell you and the Data Protection Board of India without delay: what happened and when, what it means for you, what we are doing about it, the steps you can take to protect yourself, and who to contact.
8. Your choices and rights
- Course calls: switch on or off any time in Profile (18 or older).
- Usage statistics: off unless you switch them on in Profile, and you can switch them off again any time (18 or older; always off under 18).
- Correct your details: change your name, exam, year or age group in Profile.
- Delete your account: in the app (Profile, Delete my account) or on this website.
- See, correct or erase your data, nominate someone, or complain: see Your data rights.
Withdrawing a choice is as easy as giving it, and does not affect anything done lawfully before you withdrew.
9. This website
clickready.in sets no cookies, runs no analytics and loads nothing from other websites. Cloudflare, which serves the site, keeps short-lived technical logs (such as IP addresses) to protect it from attacks. The delete-account page signs you in with Google only to confirm the account is yours. It keeps the sign-in in the page's memory, never in your browser's storage, and ends it when you delete or cancel. If you sign in there without a ClickReady account, the sign-in record it creates is deleted at once.
10. Changes to this policy
When we change this policy, the new version is posted here with a new version date. If a change affects how we use data you have already given, the app tells you before it takes effect, and if it needs a new choice from you, it asks; nothing changes for you until you answer.
11. Contact
Email support@clickready.in for anything about the app, or grievance@clickready.in for a privacy complaint. Post: Sushant Tutorials, Office No 10H, Chaitanya Apartment, 2063 Sadashiv Peth, Pune 411030, Maharashtra, India.
